Orixine joins Cross River State for their public health security and animal health laws validation meeting in Calabar

This landmark four-day convening brought together a diverse array of key stakeholders, including senior officials from relevant ministries, agencies, and non-governmental organizations. Notable attendees included the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Justice, the State Epidemiologist, the Director of Legal Drafting, and representatives from various state directorates, all united in their commitment to advancing public health governance.

The intensive meeting featured a meticulous clause-by-clause review of the Public Health Security Bill and Animal Health Bill, ensuring alignment with global best practices and local needs. Stakeholders proposed critical amendments and actionable recommendations, which were carefully documented to strengthen the legislative frameworks. This collaborative effort underscored the shared vision of safeguarding public health and enhancing animal health management in Cross River State.
